How to sell your by-products
Do you know of gas flaring?
When crude oil is drilled from the ground, one of the byproducts is "associate petroleum gas". This gas in some countries is used to produce electricity. But many other nations, like mine, lack the capacity to use this byproduct - so we burn it. This act of burning is called gas flaring.
Although most of these countries, Nigeria one of them, need electricity, they still engage in burning off this important by-product.
There are many instances where we do this too.
After working Mondays to Fridays. 9 am to 5 pm. Jumping hoops, solving problems, meeting crazy deadlines to get the job done, what do you do with those experiences?
They are the byproducts of doing our job every day. But we burn them because we think they’re not important.
But someone out there needs to hear you and learn from your lived-experiences. Someone needs to be inspired by your stories of adversity and success.
Here's what I want you to do...
After each day, sit down and reflect. What did you learn? What would you have done differently?
Glean those experiences and share. Teach others coming behind you. Trust me, they need it.
And when you show up consistently, maybe then we can have you share these byproducts as a book, a workshop, or a course.
