Most people ask “what stories should I tell? And I answer, everything!! That’s what makes you human and we always want to connect with humans.

We owe to ourselves and the communities we serve to find diverse and creative ways to tell our stories because we live in a world where so many things need to change.

2020 was an incredible year for me filled with lessons and growth. I’m proud of the projects I executed, the new habits I built, the new skills I acquired and the man am becoming.

Even I myself do not have a complete grasp of how much the internet can affect our lives. Its reach is immense and it continues to disrupt every aspect of the human endeavor.

The call to tell your story is not a request to tell another generic narrative out there on the internet but a plea for vulnerability - to tell a story that is authentically and deeply yours.

No one is perfect and it’s ok not to be.
Be you. Be human. Be imperfect.

What you are afraid of is what you should probably be doing. Fear is a compass that shows you the task to be done. The greater the fear, the more important the task.

Although numb by all the violence, and reeling from all that’s happening, I’m still deeply proud of my generation.

As humans, the instrument in our hands does not really matter. Our will to create is the ultimate weapon.

Ideas are not special. Making them happen - that’s special.

The teacher today has a distinct advantage from every teacher in any other age. She has social media, one of the greatest communication tools ever created. 

But if you can show up every day telling your authentic stories here on the internet, anyone will see it and if it resonates they will connect with you.

If you want to really do something, announce it on Facebook. Tell your followers what you want to do and how you will do it.

Someone out there needs to hear you and learn from your lived-experiences. Someone needs to be inspired by your stories of adversity and success.
